A brief description of our area.

Wooler 9 miles; Berwick-upon-Tweed 8 miles.

Kyloe Cabin is ideally placed for a holiday in Northumberland. Lowick village and the Black Bull Inn is just 2 miles to the west. Kimmerston Riding Centre is just a few miles to the west. The pretty village of Ford with its castle and craft shops is 3 miles away, part of the Ford and Etal Estate which has facilities for cycling and fishing, as well as a mini railway - ideal for all the family. There are also excellent golfing opportunities, with 8 golf courses within 20 miles of the cabin. Northumberland's beautiful coastline, Holy Island, the Cheviots and the fascinating border town of Berwick, are all only a short drive away. A superb base for exploring all the region has to offer.

Just 4 miles from the causeway to Lindisfarne and 10 miles from the Cheviot foothills, we are ideally placed for exploring both the dramatic Heritage coastline and the lovely landscapes of this beautiful border county. With Berwick 15 minutes drive north and Alnwick 30 minutes drive south, the cabin is an excellent location for visiting the historic Norman and Elizabethan towns of Northumberland.

Visit North Northumberland Online to get a really good idea why this area is so special.
